CABANATUAN CITY, Nueva Ecija — A female drug den maintainer and her four cohorts were collared after anti-narcotic operatives swooped down a makeshift drug den in Purok 6, Barangay San Joser Sur on Sunday afternoon (Oct. 13).
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Nueva Ecija Provincial Office identified the lady operator as Dolly C. Ramos, 43 years old, a resident of Barangay San Joser Sur. Other arrested suspects were named as Niko Ramos y Garces, male, 27; Dan Ramos, male, 25; Deinniel Canlas y Carpio, male, 26; and Rolando Ramos y Carpio @Tagod, male, 62, all resident of Purok 6, Brgy. San Joser Sur, Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija.
Operatives recovered a total of 14 pieces of transparent plastic sachets containing more or less 15 grams of shabu worth P102,000.00; assorted drug paraphernalia; and the buy-bust money.
Confiscated illegal drugs will be forwarded to the PDEA RO III laboratory section for forensic examination. The operation was jointly conducted by the PDEA Nueva Ecija Provincial Office, the PDEA Regional Special Enforcement Team, and Cabanatuan Police Station.
Arrested suspects will be temporarily detained at the PDEA Jail Facility, while charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are being readied for filing. (UnliNews Online)
