CAMP ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan — The Bulacan Police Provincial Office led by Provincial Director Col. Satur L. Ediong warmly welcomed Brig. Gen. Redrico A. Maranan, Regional Director of Police Regional Office 3, during his command visit on Monday (Nov. 11).
The visit gathered the Bulacan PPO Command Group, including staff officers, chiefs of police, and force commanders from various stations across the province.
As part of the event, Bulacan PPO presented a display of confiscated loose firearms from recent operations, along with firearms and mobility assets donated to the PPO. These confiscations, noted Col. Ediong, are instrumental in maintaining peace and order ahead of the 2025 elections, underscoring the PPO’s commitment to a safe electoral process.
Following this, a command conference highlighted Bulacan PPO’s operational and administrative achievements, focusing on anti-crime initiatives and community engagement efforts.
Maranan commended Bulacan PPO’s proactive steps in utilizing technology and enhancing police outposts for public safety.
In addition to his visit at the Bulacan PPO, Maranan paid a courtesy call to Bulacan Governor Gov. Daniel R. Fernando, further strengthening the collaboration between the police force and local government. Their discussion focused on shared security objectives and initiatives to ensure the safety and peace of Bulacan communities.
Maranan emphasized a strategic formula for a safer Central Luzon: Enhanced Police Presence (EPP) + Quick Response Time (QRT) + Counter Actions Against Drugs, Criminal Gangs, and Private Armed Groups (CADCP) = a Safe Region 3. This three-pronged approach, he explained, is central to his vision for law enforcement in Central Luzon. (UnliNews Online)
