CITY OF MALOLOS, Bulacan — Former governor of Ilocos Sur and 2025 elections Senatoriable Chavit Singson has vowed to provide assistance to jeepney owners and drivers in this province in the plight to modernize the public transportation in Bulacan.
Speaking before 1,200 transport stakeholders, including transport cooperatives, and corporations at the Bulacan Transport Summit 2024 at the Bulacan Capitol Gymnasium on Monday (Nov. 25), Chavit said that he plans to provide financial assistance to the jeepney owners and drivers who plan to replace their old, dilapidated vehicles with newer electric jeepneys (e-jeepneys).
