CAMP ALEJO SANTOS — The Bulacan Police Provincial Office (Bul PPO) led by Provincial Director Col. Satur L. Ediong along with the staff officers, chiefs of police, and force commanders, as well as the chiefs of provincial support units. warmly welcomed Brig. Gen. Jean S. Fajardo, Regional Director of Police Regional Office 3 during her command visit on Tuesday (Feb. 4).
According to Major Jaynalyn A. Udal, Bulacan police public information officer, the Gen. Fajardo’s command visit included a display of confiscated loose firearms, deposited firearms, and surrendered firearms, in preparation for the upcoming national midterm elections in 2025.

It was followed by a command conference and a visit to the Command Center, where a simulation exercise (SIMEX) was conducted to test the response time of the Tactical Motorcycle Riding Unit – Dedicated Rider Force (TMRU-DRF) and mobile patrolling police.
“The exercise was monitored through the Command Center with GPS installed in the patrol mobile units and TMRU-DRF Motorcycles,” Major Udal said.
Col. Ediong on the other hand said, Brig. Gen. Fajardo also inspected the Provincial Election Monitoring Action Center (PEMAC), which is essential for ensuring the smooth and secure conduct of the upcoming elections.
Ediong expressed his gratitude for the support and guidance of the new regional director, emphasizing the Bulacan PPO’s commitment to maintaining peace and order in the province.
He said this command visit marks the beginning of a stronger, more united police force under the new regional director’s leadership, with renewed dedication to safeguarding the communities of the Province of Bulacan.
“She concluded her visit with a courtesy call to Hon. Daniel R. Fernando, Governor of Bulacan, where they discussed ongoing efforts to enhance security and public safety in the province, especially in preparation for the elections,” Col. Ediong added. (UnliNews Online)
