Bulacan inks agreement with DepEd and BulSU to support studentship of 100 public school teachers

CITY OF MALOLOS – In reinforcing the province’s unwavering commitment to quality education and professional development, the Provincial Government of Bulacan inked the agreement with the Department of Education and Bulacan State University that will provide studentship to public school teachers that took place at the Bulacan Capitol Gymnasium.

This Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) will provide scholarship grants for 100 public school teachers who are pursuing their master’s degree under the ‘Tulong Pang-Edukasyon Para sa Bulakenyo’ program.

Governor Daniel R. Fernando and Vice Governor Alexis C. Castro, along with Provincial Administrator Antonia V. Constantino, Schools Division Superintendent Norma P. Esteban, and Dr. Warlito M. Galita, Dean of the Graduate School, led the signing of the MOA recently.

Through this partnership, scholars pursuing graduate studies will receive financial aid of P5,000 each per semester. This aid will cover tuition fees and other academic expenses, ensuring that selected scholars can further their education without facing financial burdens.

Fernando emphasized in his address that supporting the academic growth and promoting professional excellence among educators in the province will ultimately benefit future generations.

“Ang ating mga guro ang pundasyon ng edukasyon. Sa pamamagitan ng pagsuporta sa kanilang mataas na pag-aaral, pinalalakas natin sila at tinitiyak ang mas magandang kinabukasan para sa mga estudyante at sa ating lalawigan,” the governor said. (UnliNews Online)
