2,329 PRO3 cops promoted, pledged stronger service

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — A total of 2,329 personnel from the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) formally took their oath of promotion in a ceremonial donning and pinning of ranks held on Thursday (Feb. 6), at the PRO3 Parade Ground, Camp Olivas.

The event marked a significant milestone for 51 newly promoted Police Commissioned Officers (PCOs) and 2,278 Police Non-Commissioned Officers (PNCOs).

PRO-3 chief, Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo, led the ceremony, administering the mass donning and pinning of ranks for the newly promoted officers. In her address, she lauded the personnel for their dedication and perseverance, highlighting that their promotions not only recognize their service but also bring greater responsibilities.

“Your promotion is a testament to your perseverance, competence, and unwavering dedication to serve and protect. With this new rank comes greater responsibility, and I trust that each of you will continue to uphold the integrity and professionalism that the Philippine National Police stands for,” Fajardo said.

The simultaneous donning and pinning of ranks across all PNP units serve as a formal recognition of personnel’s career advancement and commitment to duty.

The newly promoted officers expressed gratitude for the recognition and pledged to continue serving with dedication, further strengthening PRO3’s ranks in ensuring public safety and security. (UnliNews Online)
