CITY OF MALOLOS, Bulacan — A drug sting in this city led to the arrest of five suspects and seizure of approximately 7 kilos of shabu and worth P8.4 million on Saturday night in Maunlad Homes, Barangay Tikay here.
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Bulacan Provincial Office identified the apprehended individuals as alias Joy, 46 years old; alias Carl, 41; alias Shawn, 19, single, working student; alias Rocel, 20; single, student, all residents of 477 Maunlad Homes, Barangay Tikay, City of Malolos; and alias Tin, 21 years old, single, student, and a resident of 86 Purok 1, Mabolo, City of Malolos.

According to PDEA operatives, the drug suspects were apprehended inside their residence in the said barangay at about 6:33 p.m.
Authorities seized one piece opened brown-gold foil pack with Chinese characters labelled “Freeso-dried Durien” containing; 1 piece vacuum sealed transparent plastic containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu with a total weight of more or less 1000 grams with street drug price of P1,200,000, 6 pieces brown-gold foil pack with Chinese characters labelled “Freeso-dried Durien” containing shabu with a total weight of 6000 grams with street drug price of P7,200,000, assorted IDs and the buy-bust money.
The sting operation was conducted jointly by operatives led by PDEA RO-NCR Northern District Office, PDEA RO-NCR RSET2, PDEA Bulacan Provincial Office, Provincial Intelligence Unit Bulacan PPO, and Malolos police.
“The arrested individuals will face charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002,” said PDEA Bulacan. (UnliNews Online)
