CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — In a decisive strike against the illegal drug trade, Central Luzon police have intensified their operations, leading to the arrest of high-value drug personalities and the seizure of over P3.7 million worth of shabu.
These actions reaffirm the Philippine National Police’s unwavering commitment to eradicating illegal drugs and safeguarding communities, especially in the lead-up to the 2025 elections.
On Wednesday morning (March 5), operatives from the Special Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Cabanatuan City Police Station conducted an anti-illegal drug operation in Brgy. Sta. Arcadia, Cabanatuan City.
The operation led to the arrest of alias “She,” a 47-year-old female from Brgy. Hulo, Sto. Domingo, Nueva Ecija, and alias “Bert,” a 42-year-old male from Brgy. Cruz Roja, Cabanatuan City. Authorities confiscated 500 grams of suspected shabu, valued at P3,400,000.
Earlier that morning, at around 10:35 a.m. in Brgy. Cutcut, Angeles City, the Anti-Criminal Division Enforcement Unit (ACDEU), in coordination with Police Station 5, apprehended alias “Boss,” a 50-year-old male from Brgy. Pulung Maragul, Angeles City. Authorities confiscated 55 grams of suspected shabu, worth P360,400.
PRO3 Director PBGen Jean Fajardo underscored the significance of these operations: “This is a direct strike against the drug trade and a strong warning to those who continue to engage in illegal drug activities. We are relentless in enforcing R.A. 9165 and ensuring these criminals are held accountable. As we approach the 2025 elections, we will intensify our efforts to dismantle drug networks and ensure that our people live in safe, drug-free environments.”
