15 drug peddlers nabbed, P285K worth of illegal drugs seized in Bulacan

CAMP ALEJO SANTOS, ulacan — In a daylong operations conducted by the Bulacan Police, a total of P258,604.00 worth of illegal drugs were seized, including 52 sachets of suspected shabu.

According to Major Jaynalyn A. Udal, Bul PPO Information chief, the operations, conducted on Tuesday (March 25), led to the arrest of 15 drug suspects in several anti-illegal drug operations within the said province.

Major Udal also said that based to the reports submitted to Col. Satur Ediong, Provincial Director of Bulacan PPO, the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Meycauayan CPS conducted an anti-illegal drug operation on Tuesday, at around 1:36 a.m., in Brgy. Lawa, Meycauayan, resulting in the arrest of 5 drug suspects and leading to the confiscation of seven pieces of transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu with a standard drug price value of P115,600.00, and buy bust money.

“Similarly, a total of 6 sachets of suspected shabu, with an estimated Standard Drug Price of P49,028.00, along with buy-bust money, were seized during an anti-illegal drug operation conducted by the Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) of the Bulacan Provincial Intelligence Unit together with Plaridel MPS. The operation led to the arrest of one drug suspect in Brgy. Banga 2nd, Plardiel, Bulacan, at around 12:30 a.m. on Tuesday,” Udal said.

She added, the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Pulilan MPS conducted an anti-illegal drug operation also on that day, at around 12:05 a.m., in Brgy. Cutcot, Pulilan, resulting in the arrest of two drug suspects and leading to the confiscation of 21 pieces of transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu with a standard drug price value of P 48,416.00, and buy bust money.

Furthermore, Major Udal added that the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Santa Maria, San Miguel, Malolos, San Idlefonso, and Obando Police Station conducted different anti-illegal drug operation resulting in the arrest of 7 drug suspects and leading to the confiscation of 18 pieces of transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu with a standard drug price value of forty-five thousand five hundred sixty pesos P45,560.00, and buy bust money.

“The arrested suspects and the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit (PFU) for appropriate examination. While criminal complaints for violations of R.A. 9165 against the suspect is now being prepared for filing in court,” the information chief marked.

Col. Ediong, on the other hand said Bulacan PPO underscored the directives of Brig. Gen. Jean S. Fajardo, Regional Director of PRO3, emphasizing the significant impact of these operations in combating illegal drugs and illegal gambling.

“The Bulacan Police remain steadfast in our mission to uphold the law, targeting illegal drug suspects and those wanted by law who threaten our communities. Our commitment is to create a safer, drug-free Bulacan,” Col. Ediong stated. (UnliNews Online)
