CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — Sixty-nine non-uniformed personnel (NUP) of Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) took their oath of office on Tuesday (May 2) in a simple ceremony held at the PRO3 Patrol Hall, Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.
PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hildalgo Jr., administered the oath of office to the 69 NUP composed of 23 newly promoted, 3 newly transferred and 43 newly appointed civilian employees who will perform as computer operators, crime registrars and radio operators, and will be assigned to the different police provincial offices (PPOs) and city/municipal police stations within Region 3.
Hidalgo said the hiring of the 69 civilian employees will replace the police personnel assigned in stations performing administrative work who will be deployed on the streets to increase police visibility and boost anti-crime efforts in line with the directive of higher headquarters.
“The contribution made by our non-uniformed personnel is as vital as that of our men and women in uniform, this is why, we need them and we know that we can count on them,” Hidalgo said in his message.(UnliNews Online)
