THE Philippine National Police (PNP) General Hospital proudly unveils its newly renovated Emergency Room (ER) on Tuesday (May 23), with Police Lieutenant General Rhodel O Sermonia, Deputy Chief PNP for Administration, representing Chief, Philippine National Police (CPNP) Police General Benjamin C Acorda, Jr. as the Guest of Honor and Speaker.
The ER, often regarded as the first line of defense for those requiring urgent medical attention, has undergone a remarkable transformation.
On Tuesday ceremony not only highlights the physical enhancements but also emphasizes the profound impact it will have on the morale and welfare of the hospital’s medical professionals.
In his inspirational speech, Chief PNP acknowledged the vital role of a well-designed and efficiently functioning ER in boosting the confidence and morale of medical personnel enabling them to perform their lifesaving duties with even greater dedication and effectiveness.
“The newly renovated ER symbolizes the PNP’s unwavering commitment to providing the highest standard of healthcare to our personnel and their families, even in times of great challenges”, Chief PNP Acorda emphasized.
He extended his heartfelt appreciation to PBGEN Jezebel Medina, the current Director of the PNP Health Service, for her exceptional leadership and the collective efforts of the men and women of the PNP Health Service. The architects, engineers, and contractors involved in the project were also commended for their invaluable contributions.
CPNP urged everyone to reflect on the essence of “Serbisyong Nagkakaisa,” the guiding principle deeply ingrained within the PNP. He emphasized the importance of unity and service, reminding all present that their collective strength lies not only in their individual abilities but also in their ability to work together, support one another, and uplift those in need.
