CAMP ALEJO S. SANTOS, Bulacan — Five drug suspects, fifteen wanted persons, and three illegal gamblers were arrested in a continuous police operation conducted by Bulacan police on Wednesday (May 31) and early Thursday morning (June 1).
Col. Relly B. Arnedo, Provincial Director Bulacan PPO, said that in separate drug buy-bust operations conducted by the Station Drug Enforcement Units (SDEU) of the Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU), Bulakan, Pulilan, and Malolos City Police Station, five drug suspects were arrested.
Confiscated were a total of sixteen sachets of suspected shabu with a DDB value of 92,400.00, buy-bust money, and one piece caliber.45 replicas, one piece caliber 9mm beretta, and drug paraphernalia.
Meanwhile, persistent pursuit operations by the tracker teams of Bulacan 1st and 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC), San Ildefonso, San Jose Del Monte, Malolos, Sta. Maria, Guiguinto, and Baliuag City Police Station led to the arrest of 15 wanted felons.
They were arrested for the crimes of Serious Physical Injury, Attempted Homicide, Theft, Serious Physical Injury, Estafa, Qualified Theft, Baliuag, and Rape. All accused are presently under the custody of the arresting unit/station for proper disposition.
On the other hand, three illegal gamblers were arrested in an anti-illegal gambling operation steered by the operatives of Calumpit Police Stations. They were caught in the act of playing illegal card games (tong-its), and confiscated evidence includes a set of playing cards and bet money in different denominations. Appropriate criminal complaints against the arrested suspects are now being prepared for filing in court.
