CAMP ALEJOS S. SANTOS — The Bulacan police arrested Marilao’s top wanted person and two others for different warrants of arrest, while buy-bust operations resulted in three arrested drug peddlers and another six for violation of PD 1602.
Col. Relly Arnedo, Bulacan provincial director stated that the intel-driven manhunt operation of Marilao police together with the Provincial Intelligence Team-West served the warrant of arrest against Ricardo Garcia for the crime of Statutory Rape under par. (1) (D), Art 266-A of the Revised Penal Code as amended by R.A 8353 and two counts of Rape by Sexual Assault under Art. 266-A. par.2 of the Revised Penal Code, as amended by R.A. No. 8353 on Saturday afternoon (June 3) at Brgy. Prenza II, Marilao.
“Arrested suspect is listed as Top 9-Regional Level, Top 4-Provincial Level and Top 1-Municipal Level,” Arnedo said.
Additional service of warrants of arrest implemented by the tracker team of Bulacan 1st PMFC and Bulakan police station led to the arrest of Remar Paraiso Jr for the crime of Statutory Rape under RPC Art 266-A and Ronald Gonzales for the crime of Attempted Rape.
Anti-illegal drugs operations conducted by Guiguinto Drug Enforcement Unit arrested Jake Hernandez listed as Street Level Individual (SLI) at Brgy. Tuktukan, while Rolando Ajose and Peter Estrada were arrested at Brgy. Poblacion, Guiguinto.
All confiscated pieces of evidence are subject to Forensic examination while arrested suspects will be charged with violation of sections 5 and 11 of RA 9165 or the Selling and Using of Illegal Drugs.
Meanwhile, Bulacan police operations against illegal gambling apprehended six illegal gamblers. Guiguinto police arrested Leo Reyes Jr, Wilson Soriano, and Arvin Carlo Rivera at Brgy Poblacion Guguinto while Pulilan police apprehended Maria Linda Bantilo, Fe Malinao, and Rudy Ocampo at Brgy., Longos, Pulilan. All arrested suspects were caught in the act of playing “Tong-its” and will be charged with violation of PD 1602 or the Anti-Illegal Gambling Act.
Arnedo said, “The Bulacan PNP reiterates its strict implementation against all forms of illegal gambling to combat this social menace that wastes the energy and resources of our people and remains resolute in its mission to combat the scourge of illegal drugs.”
He added these crucial operations are conducted under the guidance and directives of Brig. Gen. Jose S. Hidalgo Jr., the esteemed PNP Region 3 Director.
