MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga — Two notorious drug dens were dismantled in a separate buy-bust operation that resulted in the apprehension of 13 drug suspects and seizure of some P186,300.00 worth of shabu on Monday night (February 28).
PDEA-Central Luzon reported the first drug sting was conducted around 9:42 pm along Roxas Street wherein eight drug suspects were arrested identified as David Hernan y Hipolito @Jon Jon, male, single, 36 years old; China Bañar y Rebadulla, female, single, 42; Berna Dicto Vargas y Manaloto, male, married, 29; Mike Aro y Pagon, male, single, 42; Melvin Marcelo y Baluyot, male, single, 31; Jon-Jon Bais y De Leon, male, single, 36; Rodney Cariño y Salta, male, married, 42; and Mercedes Lagrimas y Bañar,, female, married, 36.
While the second drug sting (9:52 p.m) also in Roxas Street, Barangay Dau busted five individuals namely Edsel Galang y Carlos @Bruce, male, married, 50 years old; Maria Hilda Permites y Manuel, female, married; Gemma Gopez y Galeria, female, single, 45; Ace Vital y Gutierrez, male, single, 34; and Ericson Miranda y Malonzo, male, single, 34.
The two anti-illegal drugs operations led to the seizures of a total of approximately 27 grams of shabu with an estimated street value of P186,300.00; assorted drug paraphernalia; and marked money.
The anti-drug operations were conducted by PDEA Pampanga Provincial Office and PDEA-3 Special Enforcement Section.
Cases for violation of Republic Act 9165 or otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the arrested suspects. (Unlinews Online)
