CAMP ALEJO S. SANTOS — A member of Melito Glor Command, Communist Terrorist Group voluntarily surrendered to authorities of 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company in San Rafael, Bulacan, Col. Relly B. Arnedo, provincial director reported.
Arnedo on Saturday (June 10) said that alias Ka Dindo (not his real name), 27 years old, from Norzagaray town was an active member of Melito Glor Command.
Arnedo added that around 12:30 p.m. on Friday, Bulacan police of 2nd Platoon, 2nd PMFC (led unit) together with Norzagaray police, PIU Bulacan PPO, Bulacan 1st PMFC, 301st RMFB3, and 70IB, 7ID Philippine Army facilitated the voluntary surrender of alias Ka Dindo at Brgy Sampaloc, San Rafael, Bulacan.
“He also submitted from his possession one caliber 38, revolver, Smith and Wesson, with serial number S.058072 and five live ammunition, and one grenade hand fragmented.
Alias Ka Dindo, is now under the custody of the 2nd PMFC for documentation and for Custodial Debriefing Report (CDR).
”Bulacan Police is stern on its intensified campaign against insurgency and terrorism to ensure the provision of social services, employment opportunities, and improved quality of life in communities that have been experiencing or are vulnerable to armed communist conflict,” Arnedo said.
