CAMP ALEJO SANTOS — Bulacan police arrested a total of 37 law offenders and wanted felons on Monday (June 19) and early Tuesday morning (June 20), Col. Relly B. Arnedo, Bulacan provincial director reported.
Arnedo told the local media during an interview on Tuesday that the 37 suspects were made for the last 24 hours including the arrest of Christopher Lhoi Paragas during the implementation of a search warrant executed by the Meycauayan police Monday afternoon at Meyland Homes, Brgy. Lawa, Meycauayan City.
Seized from the suspect’s possession according to Arnedo was one piece Cal. 38 Revolver with Smith & Wesson trademark loaded with 4 live ammunition and four pieces of live cal. 38 ammunitions.
“Suspect will be charged with violation of RA10591 and is currently under the custody of Meycauayan police,” Arnedo added.
Meanwhile, manhunt operations conducted by Bulacan police collared eight wanted individuals with court-issued warrants of arrest including a Most Wanted Person.
Pandi police arrested Arvin Geronimo by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest for the crime of Homicide at Barangay Bunsuran 1st, Pandi, Bulacan. The arrested person is the top Most Wanted Person (Municipal Level) in Paniqui, Tarlac, and ranked 7 in the province of Tarlac.
Furthermore, Arnedo said the tracker teams of Bulacan 1st and 2nd PMFC, Bulacan CIDG PFU, Meycauayan, Plaridel, San Jose del Monte, Norzagaray, and San Miguel police served warrants of arrest to individuals for violations of different crimes.
Additional remarkable accomplishment conducted by the Pulilan police together with Bulacan Police Provincial Intelligence Unit led to the surrender of Jersey Moore, a member of Serrano Criminal Group and Included in the top 10 Regional Priority High-Value Individual (HVI) at Brgy Poblacion, Pulilan, Bulacan.
Bulacan PNP through police stations’ Drug Enforcement Units collared s16 drug peddlers and users. Among the arrested was Mark Tyron Suncaya listed as a street-level individual (SLI) in a buy-bust operation conducted by the Santa Maria operatives.
While Marilao Drug Enforcement Unit arrested 5 individuals who were caught in the act of using illegal drugs at Brgy. Abangan Sur, Marilao, after authorities received a report of ongoing illegal activity.
“A total of 31 heat-sealed plastic sachets were confiscated from the different anti-illegal drugs operations and all arrested suspects will be charged for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002,” Arnedo added.
Whereas, Meycauayan police arrested 10 individuals while caught in the act of playing an illegal card game (Pusoy and Lucky 9) at Pantoc, Meycauayan City, Bulacan for violation of PD 1602 Illegal Gambling.
