Bulacan police pursued and arrested carnapping suspect

CAMP ALEJO SANTOS — The Bulacan Provincial Police Office arrested a suspect in carnapping and drug peddlers, Bulacan provincial director Col. Relly Arnedo reported.

According to Arnedo that on Saturday (June 17) carnapping incident transpired in front of the victim’s house in Brgy Gayagaya, City San Jose del Monte, Bulacan.

Patrolling unit of Bulacan 2nd PMFC responded to the victim’s call and chased the suspect.

The suspect Cyreel Ugali was eventually arrested in Brgy. Sapang Palay CSJDM, Bulacan and recovered the stolen Kawasaki motorcycle with plate number KB-910726.

Arrested suspect is now under the custody of Bulacan 2nd PMFC for filing of appropriate charges.

Additionally, Angat Drug Enforcement Unit arrested a PNP/PDEA drugs watchlist Vicente Quilaquil on a buy-bust operation at Brgy. Marungko, Angat, Bulacan yesterday evening. Similarly, Calumpit Drug Enforcement Unit arrested Elvira Carandang and Richard Colonel after selling suspected shabu to authorities.

A total of ten sachets of suspected shabu were confiscated from the arrested suspects and are now facing violations of Sections 5 and 11 of RA 9165.

Hidalgo Jr., the Regional Director of PRO3, the Bulacan PNP exemplifies unwavering dedication in their efforts to combat drug-related offenses, apprehend wanted individuals, and curb illegal gambling activities within the province.
