CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — Police authorities in Aliaga, Nueva Ecija were able to arrest the leader and members of Hernandez Gun for Hire Group and seized P27,200.00 worth of shabu, explosives, and several high-powered firearms during the conduct of anti-criminality checkpoint on Sunday (June 25).
PRO3 Director Brig. Gen. Jose S. Hidalgo Jr. said that joint operatives of Aliaga Municipal Police Station, PIU, PPDEU, 1ST PMFC, and 2nd PMFC NEPPO while conducting an anti-criminality checkpoint in Brgy. Sto. Rosario, Aliaga, and Nueva Ecija flagged down one blue Toyota Vios resulting in the arrest of five members of the Hernandez Gun for Hire Group.
Hidalgo identified the arrested suspects as Ronnie Hernandez y Ilao, leader of the Hernandez criminal group, 41 years old, resident of Brgy. Macalamcam B, Rosario Batangas; Alfred Ledezama y Cabile, 34 years old, resident of Brgy Del Carmen, Lipa City, Batangas; Joey Pangilinan y Acquiot, 35 years old, resident of Brgy San Lucas, Lipa City, Batangas; Myra Hernandez y Paderon, 34 years old, resident of Brgy. Bolihan Malvar, Batangas; and Liezel Awing y Morales, 37 years old, and resident of San Juan Batangas.
Seized from the suspects were one M16 rifle with magazines and ammunition, three hand grenades, four caliber 45 with magazines and ammunition, MOL 4 grams of shabu with DDB value of P27,200, and cash money amounting to P49,931.00.
Further, the arrested gun-for-hire personalities’ areas of operation are in Region 4A, NCR, and Region 3. They have been previously involved in several killings in Batangas and Quezon provinces.
HIDALGO also assures the public of PRO3’s unrelenting commitment to curb all forms of criminality in the region. He stressed that Central Luzon cops remain steadfast in mobilizing its resources along with its continuous efforts to address lawlessness in the four corners of the region. (UnliNews Online)
