CITY OF MALOLOS — A live-in-partner involved in the bulk distribution of shabu in Metro Manila and nearby towns of Bulacan was arrested while at least P680,000.00 worth of crystal meth (shabu) were seized by anti-narcotic operatives in a buy-bust operation in a mall parking lot on Monday night (June 26).
Apprehended suspects were identified as Arnel Capulong y Remoto a.k.a Ambo, 46 years old, resident of 045 Brgy. Iba O Este, Calumpit, Bulacan; and Neralyn Ocampo y Abangan a.k.a Nika/Mika, 39 years old, resident of 045 Iba O Este, Calumpit, Bulacan.
About 100 grams of shabu worth P680,000.00 and the marked money were recovered during the sting operation.
The operation was jointly conducted by operatives led by PDEA Central Luzon, PDEA-NCR, and the local police.
A charge for violation of Section 5 (sale of dangerous drugs) in Relation to Section 26B (conspiracy to sell) of Republic Act 9165 is being readied for filing in court. (UnliNews Online)
