160 law offenders arrested in Bulacan’s weeklong anti-criminality campaign

CAMP ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan — The week-long Simultaneous Criminality Law Enforcement Operations (SACLEO) arrested seventy-eight drug suspects, seventy-two most wanted persons, and twenty-nine illegal gamblers from midnight on June 19 until midnight on June 25, 2023.

The recent accomplishments, particularly in the arrest of wanted persons and people involved in illegal drugs and other street crimes were the outcome of the unwavering support of all local chief executives as well as the community in the anti-criminality campaigns of Bulacan police.

A total of 43 anti-illegal drug operations were conducted, during which 78 individuals were arrested. Seventy-three manhunt operations resulted in the arrest of 6 most wanted persons and 66 other wanted persons. Ten anti-illegal gambling operations were conducted, which resulted in the arrest 29 suspects.

Based on the reports to Col. Relly Arnedo, the implementation of search warrants by the Meycauayan and Obando police resulted in the arrest of Benjamin Joson, while Erick Nava remains at large with the confiscation of one (1) unit of Cal. 357 Magnum, one (1) unit of Cal. 22 Revolver Cal. 45 pistol, and several live ammunitions.

Likewise, the strings of anti-illegal drug operations by the twenty-four City/Municipal Police Stations confiscated a total of 231sachets, or 214.6322 grams, of illegal drugs with a standard drug price amounting to P1,596,778.96.

On the other hand, the Top Most Wanted of Makilala Police, North Cotabato, and ranked 9 in the Province of Cotabato, identified as Lyod Parilla, was arrested in Meycauayan for violation of RA 7610 on June 21, 2023, while five other Most Wanted Persons and 66 other wanted persons were put behind bars in a series of manhunt operations.

In line with the directives of Brig. Gen. JoseS. Hidalgo Jr., the Regional Director of PRO3, the Bulacan PNP exemplifies unwavering dedication in their efforts to combat drug-related offenses, apprehend wanted individuals, and curb illegal gambling activities within the province. (UnliNews ONline)
