CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga – Authorities arrested a wanted person in Camarines Sur during a manhunt operation in Arayat town, this province on Wednesday afternoon (June 28), ending more than two decades of hiding.
PRO 3 Director Brig. Gen. Jose S. Hidalgo Jr. identified the suspect as Leo Villamor y Camacho alias “Leo”, resident of Brgy. Telapayong, Arayat, Pampanga who was arrested by joint operatives of Arayat MPS, 303rd MC RMFB3, and Siruma MPS of Camarines Sur PPO at his residence.
Villamor has a standing alias Warrant of Arrest for Murder under Criminal Case no. 03-765 issued by Hon. Freddie D. Balonzo, Presiding Judge, Regional Trial Court, 5th Judicial Region, Branch 63, Calabanga, Camarines Sur dated January 16, 2002, with no bail recommended. The suspect went into hiding for more than 21 years prior to his arrest in Pampanga.
