CAMP GEN. ALEJO SANTOS — Efforts of Bulacan police led to the apprehension of several individuals involved in criminal activities on Saturday (July 8). These successful operations resulted in the arrest of drug dealers and illegal gamblers.
According to the reports submitted to Col. Relly B. Arnedo, Provincial Director of Bulacan PPO, a series of drug sting operations carried out by the Station Drug Enforcement Units (SDEU) in Angat and San Jose Del Monte City Police Station resulted in the successful arrest of 8 drug dealers.
Among the suspects were Ralph Carlo Jimenez, Rose Anne Dumayas, Editha Bacon (all included in the PNP-PDEA unified drug watchlist), Joseph Bravo alias “Latik” and four (4) cohorts. These individuals were arrested after engaging in drug transactions with police officers.
The authorities confiscated a total of twenty-five sachets of suspected shabu, drug paraphernalia, and marked money.
The arrested suspects and confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit (PFU) for appropriate examination, while criminal complaints for violations of R.A. 9165 against the suspects is now being prepared for filing in court.
Meanwhile, Malolos and Pulilan operatives conducted an anti-illegal gambling campaign that resulted in the arrest of five illegal gamblers.
Arrested were Ronnie Carcer, Cristina Santos, Maylen Mita, Richard Rafallo, and Franklin Republican. These individuals were arrested in the act of playing an illegal card game (tong-its). Confiscated from the suspects were cash bets and sets of playing card games.
Appropriate criminal complaints against the arrested suspects have been prepared for filing in court.
