PRO3 awards policewomen as Women’s Month celebration begins

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — Police Regional Office 3 Director Brig. Gen. Jose F. Hidalgo Jr., with Executive Judge Hon Evelyn Pascua- Lee led the awarding of medals to twelve (12) policewomen for their exemplary performance as the Women’s Month celebration started recently.

Among the awardees were P/Col. Marites A. Salvadora, Chief, Regional Community Affairs and Development Division, P/Lt. Col. Karen Clark, P/Maj. Michelle Paulino, P/Capt. Noralyn Awadi, PEMS Marivic Mendoza, P/CMS Geraldine Maniego, P/SSg Rosemarie C Sambrano, P/SS Jamelah N Velasco, P/SSg May Corpuz, NUP Geraldine C Bautista and NUP Abigail T Pineda.

Col. Salvadora and Capt. Awadi received the Medalya ng Kasanayan (PNP Efficiency Medal) for having the highest Unit Performance Evaluation Rating (UPER) thrice nationwide.

SSg Sambrano, SS Velasco and NUP Geraldine C Bautista also received the Medalya ng Kasanayan (PNP Efficiency Medal).

Meanwhile, Maj. Rosario, CMS Maniego, SSg Corpuz and NUP Pineda were awarded the Medalya ng Papuri (PNP Commendation Medal).

Lt . Col. Clark, Maj. Paulino and PEMS Mendoza were given plaques for being adjudged as Outstanding Policewomen of PRO3.

In her message, Executive Judge Pascua-Lee highlighted the laws and jurisprudence related to women’s rights and women empowerment.

Brig. Gen. Hidalgo said the 2022 National Women’s Month Celebration serves as a tribute that highlights the extraordinary roles of ordinary women in society as trailblazers of change.( Unlinews Online)
