CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — Central Luzon cops immediately located and arrested four murder suspects during a hot pursuit operation in Nueva Ecija on Sunday (July 9).
Citing the reports from P/Col. Richard Caballero, Nueva Ecija provincial director, Elemito Dela Cruz y Avendania, 55 years old, farmer, and a resident of Brgy. Casile, Llanera of the said province was found dead with gunshots in his head and chest on a farm at Brgy. Gomez, also in Llanera, early Sunday.
According to Caballero, from the results of the initial investigation, police identified the suspects, who fled the scene using a motorcycle, and conducted a hot operation that resulted in the apprehension of four assailants at Brgy. Bagumbayan, Llanera, Sunday afternoon.
The suspects were Emmanuel Payag, Efren Duyon, Modesco Duyon, and Jojo Rapadas. All of them are also farmers and residents in the said town.
Also seized from the suspects were one Cal. 45 pistol, two Cal .30 Carbine and assorted magazine assemblies, and live ammunition.
Criminal charges for Murder and Violation of RA 10591 are being readied against the alleged assailants.
“These arrests resulted from immediate reporting of crime and prompt response of our police troops.
