DPWH inaugurates 3 MPBs in Victoria, Tarlac

TARLAC CITY — The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) – Tarlac 1st District Engineering Office has completed the construction of three multipurpose buildings located in Barangay Malauig, San Fernando, and Batangbatang in Victoria, Tarlac, amounting to P14.66 million.

Tarlac 2nd District Representative, Hon. Christian Tell A. Yap, together with Victoria Municipal Mayor, Hon. Rex C. Villa Agustin, and Vice Mayor Tani Guiam, led the inauguration rites of the said facilities, joined by representatives from the respective Sangguniang Barangays.

Meanwhile, the DPWH Tarlac 1st DEO delegation was headed by Construction Section Chief, Engr. Jose F. Zamora Jr.

In a statement, District Engineer Neil C. Farala emphasized that these multipurpose structures will serve as alternative venues for gatherings, local activities, assemblies, and various events in the said barangays in the Municipality of Victoria, Tarlac.

The construction of these projects was funded through the 2022 General Appropriations Act (GAA). (UnliNews Online)
