Bulacan COVID-19 cases stay at low risk

CITY OF MALOLOS – The Provincial Health Office – Public Health (PHO-PH) declared on Monday that Bulacan’s COVID-19 cases remain at Alert Level 1, the minimal risk level classification there is for the whole country.

Although the province was able to maintain its low-risk level, PESU Nurse Bryan Alfonso reminded the Bulakenyos to continue following the Minimum Public Health Standard (MPHS).

On July 11, the Provincial Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit (PESU) reported 20 fresh cases and 0 late cases compared to 229 cases recorded by the PHO-PH last July 19, 2022.

Meanwhile, a total of 2,192 cases of Dengue were recorded from January to July 2023 which is 68% lower than the total cases from last year.

PHO-PH has recorded high cases of Dengue on the municipalities of Bocaue, Bulakan, and Marilao from July 2-8, 2023.

On the other hand, Governor Daniel R. Fernando also emphasizes that vaccination against COVID-19 is still available in all Municipal Health Centers, Rural Health Units, and Barangay Health Stations across the province for free. (UnliNews Online)
