CITY OF MALOLOS, Bulacan — Five theft and one robbery suspects who victimized 31 individuals fell into the hands of Bulacan police on Saturday (March 12).
Based on the report submitted on Sunday by Col. Relly Arnedo, Bulacan provincial director to PRO3 Director Brig. Gen. Jose S. Hidalgo Jr., elements of San Miguel MPS arrested John Michael Geralin y Orcales who forcibly took the mobile phone of a student while watching a music concert inside San Miguel National High School Campus.
It was learned that Geralin has cohorts who were immediately arrested by responding police thru a follow-up operation namely: Jeremy Garcia y Elgarico, Jayson Sapugay y Arales, Nor-isha Ringuit, Christian Godoy y Gayon and Ronald Madulid y Dy. 14 assorted cell phones and their get-away vehicle were seized.
Relatedly, other victims reported to said station and positively identified the suspects. Further, two suspects were able to elude arrest but were identified as Jomar Losano and Christian Franco Zuniga.
Hidalgo commended the prompt action of the local police.
“The arrest of these criminals benefits the maintenance of peace and order in our communities. Lawlessness has no place in every area under our watch,” he added. (Unlinews Online)
