4 former communist rebels return to the folds of law

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — Three former CTG members and a former supporter of Anak Pawis voluntarily surrendered to authorities recently.

In Aurora, “Ka Ronel”, former CTG member, voluntarily surrendered to the joint personnel of Aurora 2nd PMFC, Aurora PIU, Dinalungan MPS, Casiguran MPS, Dilasag MPS, CIDG Aurora PFU, Bravo Coy 91st IB-PA, and Naval Intelligence Security Unit 16-Aurora facilitate. He also turned in one Caliber .38 revolver without serial number with two live ammunition, twelve pcs. 7.62mm ammunition, and one hand grenade,

Similarly, operating police units in Tarlac together with the Philippine Army process the documentation of withdrawal of support of “Ka Minda”, Anak Pawis member operating in Gerona and Sta Ignacia Tarlac, wherein he turned in one unit of Hand grenade.

While “Ka Biga”, former CTG member, and a former underground mass organization member voluntarily surrendered to the joint elements of Zambales 2nd PMFC together with other police units and the Philippine Army.

The top cop of Central Luzon, Brig. gen. Jose S. Hildalgo Jr., further remarked that PRO3 together with all member agencies of the RTF-ELCAC3 will continue this whole sector approach against communist terrorists to achieve peace and national unity. (Unlinews Online)
