CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — Through diligent efforts and coordinated action, authorities apprehended a robbery suspect believed to be responsible for a recent armed robbery at a local convenience store in Sto. Tomas, Pampanga on Tuesday (July 25).
Operatives of Sto. Tomas MPS under the supervision of Capt. Jester Calis, Sto. Tomas chief of police responded swiftly to the reported robbery, launching a comprehensive investigation into the incident which led to the identification and subsequent arrest of the primary suspect.
Calis identified the suspect as Eddie Mutya y Blanco, 25 years old and a resident of Brgy. Sto. Niño Sapa, Sto Tomas, Pampanga. He was previously arrested in 2020 for carnapping and in 2017 for Theft.
Seized from the suspect were the stolen cash amounting to P3,310 powdered milk worth P1,656 and cigarette products worth P11,263.
He is currently in custody of Sto. Tomas MPS and faces charges related to the robbery incident.
