CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — In the waging war against illegal drugs, Central Luzon cops once again scored anew as voluminous suspected illegal drugs including illegal firearms and ammunition were seized in three separate police operations in Zambales, Bulacan and Olongapo City recently.
In Masinloc, Zambales, operatives implemented Search Warrant for violation of RA9165 and RA10591, which resulted in the dismantling of drug den, confiscation of various illegal drugs and several firearms and ammunition, and arrest of 7 individuals including its operator namely John Michael Segovia aka “Boss Balong” (watchlisted and previously arrested on same offense year 2012, 2015, and 2019) Allan Ventura y Ignalagim, Jeffrey Natividad, Ralph Cadasos y Socgang, Romano Illorig, Maximo Viscara Aquino Jr and Ben Navarro Jr.
Seized were 5 transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing about 33 grams priced at P215,000, one bundle and one sachet of dried Marijuana leaves weighing around 550 grams with estimated value of P82,500 and 25 pieces of suspected ecstasy pills worth approximately P42,500 along with one cal. 45 pistol, two Cal. 38 revolver, one Cal. 22 pistol, one improvised cal. 22 rifle/air gun, 5 pistol magazines, assorted live ammunition and drug paraphernalia.
In Sta. Maria, Bulacan, elements of Sta. Maria MPS nabbed a high value individual named Benito Capili Jr. y Corbillon, alias “Unyo’’, resident of Brgy. Lolomboy, Bocaue, Bulacan during a buy-bust operation and confiscated from his possession were two P1,000 bills marked money and four pieces heat sealed plastic sachets containing alleged shabu weighing about 60 grams priced at P408,000.00.
Meanwhile, in Olongapo City, personnel of City Police Drug Enforcement Unit arrested Alejandro ONG y Arcenas, resident of Brgy. Pag-asa and his cohorts Jhantzen Angelo Sabeniano, also resident of Brgy. Pag-asa and Jhuner Reyes y Moril resident of Brgy. Gordon Heights during a buy bust operation wherein one black pouch containing five pieces small size heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu with approximate combined weight of 25 grams with standard drug price of P170,000 were seized from the trio.
Appropriate criminal charges are now being prepared against the arrested individuals.
