CANDABA, Pampanga — An elderly man was nabbed for selling 100 grams of shabu valued at P680,000.00 following a buy-bust operation in Barangay Bahay Pare, Candaba town on Thursday (August 3).
PDEA team leader identified the arrested suspect as Ernesto B. Cruz, 63 years old, resident of Brgy. Vizal Sto. Niño, Candaba, Pampanga
Authorities said that Cruz was a recidivist since he had already served four years in prison for the same offense.
Seized from Cruz was one medium plastic wrap with a magazine and tape containing more or less 100 grams of shabu and the marked money.
The operation was conducted by operatives of PDEA Central Luzon les by PDEA Bataan Provincial Office.
A charge for violation of Section 5 (sale of dangerous drugs), Article II of Republic Act 9165 is being readied for filing in court. (UnliNews Online)
