Subic drug den nets 3, P130K shabu

SUBIC, Zambales — Agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and its PNP counterparts dismantled a makeshift drug den that led to the arrest of three suspects and confiscation of P130,410 after a joint buy-bust operation in Barangay Matain, Subic town on late Friday night (August 4).

In a report to PDEA Central Luzon Regional Director, PDEA Zambales Provincial Officer identified the arrested suspects as Crystalline Torres y NMN, female, 22 years old, resident of Purok 3; Jabil Jailana y Jalil, male, 29, resident of Purok 3, Brgy. Matain, Subic, Zambales; and Jojo Alcala y Peña, male, 37, resident of Sitio Tahimik, Brgy. Calapacuan, Subic, Zambales.

The sting operation yielded nine pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing 18. 9 grams of shabu with an estimated street value of P130,410.00; assorted drug paraphernalia and the buy-bust money.

Cases for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the apprehended suspects. (UnliNews Online)
