CITY OF MALOLOS — The three-day Internal Quality Audit (IQA) to assess the compliance of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) – Bulacan 1st District Engineering Office (DEO) with ISO 9001:2015 requirements, has been successfully completed.
Conducted by the audit team from Region IV-A, led by Eng. Mark Pericles R. David and assisted by Engr. Mark Gerald D. Arintoc, the audit involved document reviews and interviews with each section chief and unit head, covering a wide range of the district’s processes, including public administration and management.
Other processes, including planning and design, construction, maintenance, national highways, flood control, and other public works, as well as support processes such as financial management, human resource management, information management, and procurement management, were also subjected to scrutiny.
Through the efforts of District Engineer Henry C. Alcantara and Assistant District Engineer Brice Ericson Hernandez, along with the active participation of all Chief of Section and Unit Heads, the ongoing enhancement of the district’s exceptional service delivery to the public was achieved, reflecting their compliance with the ISO 9001:2015 standard and a strong commitment to continuous improvement.
