Angeles City police seize over P1M worth of shabu

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — Police continue to crack down on illegal drugs as an estimated 205 grams of suspected shabu, valued at P1,088,000 were seized during separate anti-illegal drug operations in Angeles City on Friday (Aug. 11).

Joint operatives of Angeles City Drug Enforcement, City Mobile Force Company, and Police Station 4 conducted a buy-bust operation near Crown Hotel, Mt. Makiling St., Plaridel 1, Malabanias, Angeles City which resulted in the apprehension of Stephen Saint Kwong y Maniago alias “Boss,” a 38-year-old male, and a listed High-Value Individual residing in Malabanias, Angeles City.

Among the items confiscated from his possession were three heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, weighing approximately 105 grams and carrying an estimated street value of P714,000, along with a P1,000 bill marked money.

Likewise, the efforts of Special Drug Enforcement Unit operatives from Angeles City Police Station 3, in collaboration with SOU3-PDEG, led to the arrest of Danmark Vincent Santos y Mahilom and Aeron Lagman y Laxamana, both listed as High-Value Individuals.

The duo who are residents of Brgy. Saguing, City of San Fernando, Pampanga, was arrested through a buy-bust operation along Maligaya Diversion Rd., Brgy. Pulung Maragul, Angeles City.

The operation resulted in the seizure of three heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing a white crystalline substance believed to be shabu, weighing 55 grams and valued at P374,000, in addition to a P1,000 bill marked money.

In total, authorities were able to confiscate six small to medium-sized heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, with a cumulative weight of approximately 205 grams, having a Standard Drug Price (SDP) of P1,088,000. The operation also netted P2,000.00 marked money.
