MAGALANG, Pampanga — Anti-narcotic operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Central Luzon and the local police unveiled and demolished a makeshift drug den in this town that led to the arrest of four drug suspects and seizure of around P102,000.00 worth of shabu during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Sta. Lucia on Thursday night (Aug. 24).
Authorities identified the apprehended suspects as Huit, Benjamin y Sabile @Tanda, Single, 64years old, resident of block 12A Brgy Sta. Lucia, Magalang, Pampanga; Crusillo, Randy y Jaquihaca, 32, resident of Sta. Lucia Magalang Pampanga; Sibayan, Crisanto y Canono @Cris, 43, resident of Concepcion, Tarlac; and Barrio, Marconi y Golle @ Mark, 53, resident of Brgy. San Isidro, Sta. Lucia resettlement, Magalang, Pampanga.
The drug sting yielded nine pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing more or less 15 grams of shabu amounting to P102,000.00; assorted drug paraphernalia; and the buy-bust money.
PDEA team leader said that they were supposed to entrap only alias Tanda but raided the drug den after residents informed them about an ongoing pot session.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 otherwise known as The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the arrested suspects. (UnliNews Online)
