CABANATUAN CITY, Nueva Ecija — Three individuals were collared during a buy-bust operation that also resulted in the confiscation of P102,000.00 worth of shabu in Barangay Mayapyap on Thursday night (Aug. 24).
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Nueva Ecija agents identified the arrested suspects as Rebecca Gaudio y De Guzman, female, 51 years old, resident of Purok Ilang-ilang, Brgy. Mayapyap Sur, Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija; Orlando Gaudio y De Guzman, male, 21, resident of Purok Ilang-ilang, Brgy. Mayapyap Sur, Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija; and Jerwin Medina y Asilao, male, 31, resident of Purok Dahlia, Brgy. Mayapyap Sur, Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija
Authorities recovered five heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing more or less 15 grams of shabu worth P102,000.00; assorted drug sniffing paraphernalia; and the buy-bust money used by the poseur buyer.
Apprehended drug suspects did resist arrest when they were entrapped by agents of PDEA.
Appropriate charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2022 are now being readied for filing in court. (UnliNews Online)
