CITY OF MALOLOS — Aspiring candidates for the upcoming Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections can now file their Certificates of Candidacy (COCs) conveniently at the ground level, Mall Annex of SM City Baliwag.

The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) has tapped SM City Baliwag to serve as the designated venue for COC filing. This partnership between COMELEC and the mall exemplifies the commitment to making the election process more inclusive and accessible to all eligible candidates, regardless of their backgrounds or affiliations.

The filing process, which commenced on August 28, is slated to continue until September 2, providing aspiring candidates ample time to formally declare their intent to run for public office.

The COMELEC emphasizes the importance of adhering to all guidelines and requirements for COC filing. Interested candidates are urged to familiarize themselves with the necessary documents and qualifications to ensure a seamless filing process. Comprehensive information and instructions can be found on the official COMELEC website and through the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan offices.

SM City Baliwag, with its commitment to community engagement and fostering civic responsibility, takes great pride in hosting this pivotal initiative.

The mall recognizes the importance and instrumental role that the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections play in shaping local governance, and its strategic collaboration with COMELEC underscores this commitment. (UnliNews Online)
