Central Luzon police capture 5 most wanted fugitives

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — Five most wanted individuals in Central Luzon were apprehended by authorities on Tuesday (Aug. 29)

Mark Jethro Tabella y Bautista, Top 1 fugitive of Bulacan was taken into custody by the police during an intelligence-driven operation in Calasiao, Pangasinan. Tabella is accused of Rape under CC# 273-SJDM-2023, with no recommended bail.

Meanwhile, in Pampanga, Porac Municipal Police Station (MPS) operatives arrested Zyrus Matchado y Panahon, one of the Most Wanted Persons in the municipality. Matchado faces charges of Violation of Sec. 5, Art II of R.A 9165 and Sec. 11, Art. II of RA 9165 under criminal case numbers R-ANG-19-04113-CR and R-ANG-19-04114-CR, both dated August 8, 2023, with a total recommended bail of P320,000.

In addition, personnel of Bacolor MPS successfully apprehended Nacel Espiritu y Baile, the second Most Wanted Person at the Municipal Level for violation of Estafa in relation to RA 10175 under Criminal Case number 14863, with recommended bail of Php120,000.

Further, Apalit MPS conducted a meticulous manhunt operation that resulted in the capture of Raymon Jimenez Manalo, Top 4 Most Wanted Person of the town. He was apprehended by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest docketed under Criminal Case Number 23-9293(M) for the crime of Acts of Lasciviousness (Article 336 RPC) in relation to Section 5 (B) of RA 7610, as amended by RA 11648, with a recommended bail amounting to Php180,000.

On a different front, operatives of Tarlac City Police Station (CPS) apprehended Lorenzo Ramos y Mallari, the 10th Most Wanted Person at the Municipal Level. He was arrested by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest for the Crime of Arson (PD 1613) docketed under Criminal Case No. 14852-2023 dated August 14, 2023, with a recommended bail of P72,000.

Brig. Gen. Jose S. Hidalgo Jr., Regional Director of PRO3, reiterated the unwavering commitment of Central Luzon’s police force to relentlessly pursue individuals sought by the law, despite police operations being conducted for the upcoming 2023 Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections.
