23 crime offenders arrested by Bulacan cops

CAMP ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan — The diligent efforts of Bulacan police led to the apprehension of 23 individuals in the different anti-criminality operations on Wednesday (Sept. 13) and early Thursday morning (Sept. 14).

In reports submitted to Col. Relly B. Arnedo. Bulacan provincial director, it was stated that the Station Drug Enforcement Unit, a joint operation of the Provincial Intelligence Unit and Bocaue MPS, San Jose Del Monte, and Baliwag CPS, conducted an anti-illegal drug operation that resulted in the arrest of three drug peddlers.

Confiscated from the arrested suspects were a total of 25 sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated weight of 20.98 grams and an estimated standard drug price value amounting to P142,664.00, assorted drug paraphernalia, and buy-bust money.

The arrested suspects and confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit for appropriate examination, while criminal complaints for violations of R.A. 9165 against the suspects is now being prepared for filing in court.

Meanwhile, a series of manhunt operations conducted by the Tracker Team of joint operatives of Angat MPS, Marikina CPS (Eastern Police District), Bulacan Highway Patrol Team, and RMFB 3, joint operatives of the 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company, RMFB 3, and Meycauayan CPS, San Jose Del Monte and Meycauayan CPS, San Miguel, Bocaue, Norzagaray, Bulakan, Guiguinto, Calumpit, and Marilao MPS resulted in the arrest of 14 wanted persons by virtue of Warrants of Arrest.

Moreover, Bulacan PNP’s campaign against anti-illegal gambling operations in Baliwag CPS and Plaridel MPS led to the arrest of two individuals. Confiscated evidence included papelitos, one ball pen, 3 pieces of one-peso coins used as pangara, and bet money in different denominations.

In Malolos, two suspects were arrested by police operatives of Malolos CPS for Violations of Articles 151, 155, and 148 of the Revised Penal Code of R.A. 10054, and R.A. 4136, the arrested suspects used foul language and physically assaulted a police officer while conducting an Oplan Sita/Salubong Madanan Operation, causing an alarm to the public that transpired in Brgy. Liang, Malolos City, at about 10:40 in the evening of September 13.

In Santa Maria, two suspects were arrested by police operatives of Santa Maria MPS for Violations of the R.A. 8424 (Tax Reform Act of 1997), and R.A. 10643 (Graphic Health Warning Law). An operation was launched from IREPORT MO KAY TSIP (8888) that the suspects are rampantly selling smuggled illegal cigarettes (RGD and Two Moon Brands) that transpired in Brgy. Buenavista, Santa Maria, at about 9:00 in the morning of September 13.

All the arrested accused are presently under the custody of the arresting unit or station for proper disposition.

The Bulacan PNP is devoted to keeping a safe community free from criminal activities.
