MARIVELES, Bataan — Four individuals were apprehended inside a makeshift drug den which also resulted in the seizure of approximately P102,000 worth of crystalline methamphetamine (commonly known as shabu) subsequent to a well-executed buy-bust operation at Upper Topside, Barangay Sisiman in this town recently.
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) identified the apprehended suspects as Benjie Singson y Dungol, male, single, 41 years old, Upper Topside, Brgy. Sisiman; Gemmalyn Bunalan, y Ladera, female, single, 33, Upper Topside, Brgy. Sisiman; Jaypee Antonio y Gamboa, male, single, 32, #3659 Carnation St. Brgy. Alasasin; and Mark Joseph Salting y Esiderio, male, single, 33, Batangas II, all in Mariveles, Bataan.
Assorted drug and sniffing paraphernalia, and around 15 grams of shabu amounting to P102,000 were recovered during the operation.
Confiscated illegal substances will be forwarded to the PDEA Laboratory Section for forensic examination.
The operation was conducted jointly by operatives of the PDEA Bataan Provincial Office, Bataan Seaport Interdiction Unit, Bataan PPDEU, and the local police.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the arrested suspects. (UnliNews Online)
