CL cops seize almost P2M worth of shabu, arrest 5 suspects

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — Central Luzon cops captured P1,940,448.00 worth of suspected shabu including five suspects during separate anti-illegal drug operations across the region on Tuesday (March 21).

In Angeles City, police confiscated approximately 155 grams of alleged shabu worth P1,054,000.00 and arrested Alejandro Dizon y Magtoto alias “Andy”, 57 yrs old, resident of Mabini St., Brgy San Nicolas of the said city during a buy-bust operation conducted in Brgy. Sto. Rosario, also in the same city.

Joint elements of San Miguel MPS, Bulacan PPO and 2nd PMFC BPPO apprehended Christopher Rivas y Apolong alias “Parak, 35 years old, a resident of St Joseph Village 9 Langgam, San Pedro City, Laguna and seized about 50 grams of suspected shabu with estimated DDB value of P340,000.00 during an anti-illegal drug operation in Brgy. Tartaro, San Miguel, Bulacan.

Around 33.6 grams of suspected shabu with DDB value of P228,480.00 were confiscated in Brgy. Calapacuan, Subic, Zambales during an anti-illegal drug operation conducted by the police. Arrested suspect was identified as Abdul Zaid Abdurasid y Hussin, 30 years old, a resident of the said barangay.

Further, in the anti-illegal drug operations in Olongapo City, and Norzagaray, Bulacan, authorities seized approximately 24.5 grams of alleged shabu with DDB value of P166,600.00 and more or less 22.26 grams of the same with DDB value worth P151,368.00 respectively. In Olongapo City, police arrested Ronaldo Fuerte y Layao alias “Aldo”, 40 years old, resident of the said city while in Norzagaray, Armando Aguilar y Garcia, 59 years old, a resident of the said town, was apprehended who was also caught with .38 Caliber revolver pistol.

PRO 3 regional director P/Brig. Gen. Jose S. Hidalgo Jr., commended all the operating troops for the latest accomplishment. He said: “I salute the men and women of PRO3 for their tireless efforts to score big time against illegal drugs.
