34 Bulakenyo job seekers land a job on the spot

CITY OF MALOLOS — A total of 34 Bulakenyo jobseekers secured employment on the spot during the Bulacan Trabaho Service (BTS) Caravan: Singkaban Job Fair 2023 last September 15 held at the Bulacan Capitol Gymnasium in this city.

In partnership with the Department of Labor and Employment, the Provincial Government of Bulacan through the Provincial Youth, Sports, and Public Service Office BTS Caravan job fair offered 6,076 employment opportunities from 50 local employers and five overseas agencies to 614 job applicants.

Regional Director Geraldine M. Panlilio, DOLE RO3, encouraged the applicants that while not everyone will be hired, they should not lose hope instead, continue to improve themselves.

“If ever you will not be lucky, I hope this would not discourage you from doing your best upang i-improve n’yo pa ang inyong mga sarili,” Panlilio said.

Meanwhile, Bulacan Vice Governor Alexis C. Castro personally vouched for Bulakenyo jobseekers and urged the companies to consider them.

He assured that hiring individuals from Bulacan would be a decision they would not regret, emphasizing their reputation for being both diligent and trustworthy.

Simultaneously, an Awarding and Distribution ceremony for the DOLE Integrated Livelihood Program (DILP) was also held where 511 beneficiaries received livelihood packages including welding machines, soap-making machine kits, hilot/wellness kits, sewing machines, food processing machines, and oven machines from DOLE and the PGB.
