SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga — Three alleged drug traders involved in the bulk distribution of shabu in Metro Manila and nearby provinces in Central Luzon were collared during a buy-bust operation that also led to the confiscation of some P1,360,000 worth of shabu in F. Manalo St., Barangay Calzada, Taguig City Thursday night. (Sept. 21)
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) operatives identified the apprehended suspects as Alejandro Miguel Flores, Melendres, male, 23 years old, resident of F. Manalo St. Brgy. Calzada, Taguig City; Jayson Legaspi y Torrevillia, male, 35, resident of Block 6, Kainta, Rizal; and Maricar Gunayan y Marcelino, female, 39, resident of 798 Palangca st. Mandaluyong City.
The arrested suspects yielded two pieces of ice plastic bag containing more or less 200 grams of shabu amounting to P1,360,000.00; one cellular phone; and the marked money used by the undercover agent.
Recovered illegal substances will be forwarded to the PDEA Laboratory for forensic examination.
The sting operation was conducted by the combined elements of PDEA Central Luzon, PDEA NCR and PNP SPD DDEU.
Violation of Section 5 ( sale of dangerous drugs) in relation to Section 26B (conspiracy to sell) of Republic Act 9165 will be filed against the arrested suspects. (UnliNews Online)
