MEYCAUAYAN CITY — A lady drug peddler involved in the proliferation of illegal drugs in this city and nearby towns of Bulacan was nabbed after selling 50 grams of shabu worth P340,000 in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Malhacan on Saturday afternoon (Sept. 23).
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Bulacan Chief John Jerme T. Almerino identified the apprehended suspect as Lorna C. Salvador, female, single, 38 years old, resident of Brgy. Panginay, Balagtas, Bulacan.
Authorities said that Salvador is engaged in bulk distribution of shabu in Bulacan and has been tagged as a high-value target.
Recovered illegal substances will be forwarded to the PDEA-3 laboratory section for quantitative and qualitative analysis.
“The operation was jointly conducted by PDEA Bulacan Provincial Office, PDEA Bataan PO, Bulacan PIU and Meycauayan MPS,” Almerino said.
A charge for violation of Section 5 (sale of dangerous drugs) of Republic Act 9165 is now being readied for filing in court. (UnliNews Online)
