CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — Law enforcement authorities successfully apprehended an individual wanted for multiple warrants related to Syndicated Estafa in a police operation in Nueva Ecija late Monday evening (Sept. 25).
The operation, as reported by Nueva Ecija Provincial Director Col. Richard V. Caballero to PRO3 Director Brig. Gen. Jose S. Hidalgo Jr. was conducted by operatives of Zaragosa Municipal Police Station.
According to Caballero, Zaragoza police executed a series of Warrants of Arrest against Antonio Dela Cruz y Poblete at his residence. The warrants, numbering 22 in total, were issued by Hon. Sonia T Yu-Casano, Presiding Judge of RTC Branch 31, San Pedro City, Laguna, and Hon. Nanette Mendoza Austria, Presiding Judge of RTC Branch 170, San Pedro City, Laguna.
“These warrants were issued in connection with multiple cases of Syndicated Estafa, and it is notable that no recommended bail was set for all 22 cases, underscoring the gravity of the charges against the individual in custody,” Caballero said.
Gen. Hidalgo commended the relentless efforts of the Central Luzon police force in their pursuit of justice. He reiterated the commitment of the police to track down and apprehend individuals who are subjects of lawful warrants, thereby enhancing public safety and the rule of law.
Caballero added the apprehended individual is currently in police custody and will face the legal proceedings prescribed by Philippine law. (UnliNews Online)
