MALOLOS CITY, Bulacan — The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) arrested suspected drug pushers, a Chinese father and his Filipino son, and seized P3,450.000 worth of shabu in a buy-bust operation in Pleasant Village, Barangay San Pablo in this city on Tuesday (Oct. 3).
PDEA Region III director Ronald Allan DG Ricardo in his statement on Wednesday morning identified the suspects as Anthony Chua y Dy, and his Filipino son Jay Vie Cai y Bellen, both residents of 3229 Lot 5, Block 2, Phase 2, Pleasant Village San Pablo, City of Malolos.
Recovered from the suspects were a piece of a self-sealing plastic bag containing more or less 500 grams of shabu with an estimated street value of P3,450,000 and the marked money used by the undercover agent.
Ricardo said the operation was a product of a month-long casing and surveillance by the operatives of PDEA Tarlac Provincial Office, PDEA Bulacan, and Malolos police
A charge for violation of Section 5 (sale of dangerous drugs) in relation to Section 26B (conspiracy to sell) of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, will be filed against the apprehended suspects. (UnliNews Online)
