LA PAZ, Tarlac — Seven drug suspects were collared inside a makeshift drug den that also resulted in the confiscation of some P81,600 worth of methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu after a successful drug entrapment operation in Barangay Sierra, La Paz town on late Wednesday night (Oct. 4).
In a report submitted to PDEA-3 Regional Director Ronald Allan DG Ricardo, PDEA team leader identified the arrested suspects as Marvin Manuel y Valentino, Gilbert Tolentino y Manuel, Saturnino Manuel y Patawaran, Elmer Alfaro y Manuel, JM Justin Navarrete y Labella, all residents of La Paz, Tarlac; Jaworsky Enderez y Tarun, and Claren Manuel y Bandola, both residents of Brgy 171 Bagumbong, Caloocan City.
Apprehended suspects yielded four pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing more or less 12 grams of shabu amounting to P81,600.00; assorted drug paraphernalia; and the buy-bust money.
Recovered pieces of evidence will be forwarded to the PDEA-3 Laboratory Section for forensic examination.
The sting operation was conducted by joint operatives of PDEA Nueva Ecija and Tarlac Provincial Offices.
Charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the arrested suspects. (UnliNews Online)
