CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — In another significant victory against the illegal drug trade, authorities executed two separate and highly successful drug sting operations on Wednesday (Oct. 4), resulting in the apprehension of four individuals involved in the illegal drug trade and the confiscation of substantial quantities of suspected shabu and marijuana with a combined street value estimated at P662,000.00.
In Angeles City, law enforcement officers apprehended a high-value individual during a meticulously planned buy-bust operation at approximately 2 p.m. within the city’s limits. During the operation, authorities seized approximately 55.00 grams of suspected shabu, with an estimated street value of P374,000.00.
In Bulacan, the Drug Enforcement Unit of Guiguinto Municipal Police Station executed a well-coordinated sting operation in the early hours of the morning. As a result, three individuals were taken into custody and a significant quantity of alleged marijuana, weighing approximately 2,400 grams, was seized, with an estimated street value of P288,000.00.
The suspects will face appropriate criminal charges in accordance with the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Brig. Gen. Jose S. Hidalgo Jr., Director of PRO3, commended the law enforcement personnel involved in these operations, highlighting their dedication and determination in the ongoing battle against illegal drugs.
