34 brand new patrol jeeps, 3 personal carriers for police stations, mobile force

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — The Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) has bolstered its operational capabilities with the acquisition of 34 new Toyota Hi-Lux (4×2 Single Cab) units and 3 Personnel Carrier Mitsubishi Strada 4×4 vehicles from the PNP Directorate for Logistics.

The Blessing and Turn-Over Ceremony for these vehicles officiated by P/Lt. Col. Jonathan Chy, Regional Pastoral Officer, took place at the PRO3 Parade Ground, Camp Captain Julian Olivas, City San Fernando, Pampanga, on Monday (Oct. 9).

This event followed the Monday Flag raising ceremony, and the recipients included the Provincial Police Offices of Bataan, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Tarlac, Zambales, as well as the Regional Mobile Force Battalion.

The ceremony was graced by the presence of PNP Highway Patrol Group Director Brig. Gen. Alan M. Nazarro and PRO3 Regional Director Brig. Gen. Jose S. Hidalgo Jr., who led the ceremonial handover of vehicles to their respective end-users.

Hidalgo highlighted the timely nature of this vehicle procurement, emphasizing that these assets are crucial for the ongoing proactive anti-criminality campaigns conducted by PRO3. The region is committed to maintaining round-the-clock anti-criminality checkpoints and mobile patrolling to ensure public safety.

“With this additional mobility, we anticipate achieving even more positive accomplishments in the days ahead. The public can expect PNP-PRO3 to respond more effectively to incidents, enhancing the delivery of our police services throughout the region,” Hidalgo further stated.

The addition of these modern vehicles to the PRO3 fleet reflects the commitment of the Philippine National Police to continuously enhance its capabilities, ensuring the safety and security of the community. (UnliNews Online)
