SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga — Three individuals suspected to be involved in the bulk distribution of shabu were arrested and yielded P510,000 worth of shabu following a buy-bust in a mall open parking lot along North Avenue, cor EDSA, Barangay Pag-asa on Tuesday night (Oct. 10).
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Central Luzon Regional Director Ronald Allan DG. Ricardo identified the arrested suspects as Nerissa Sarmiento y Santos, 48 years old, married, resident of 228 Brgy. Perez, Bulakan, Bulacan; Lecil May Ladjahasan y Largo, 47, married, resident of Brgy. San Francisco Kapulid Bulakan, Bulacan; and Adih Ismael y Aklabul, male, 25, single, resident of 19 A Basilian St. Salam Compound Brgy. Culiat, Quezon City.
Authorities recovered around 75 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of Php 510,000.00; and the marked money used by an undercover agent.
The sting operation was jointly conducted by agents of PDEA Central Luzon, PDEA NCR, and PNP counterparts.
A charge for Violation of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs) in relation to Section 26B (Conspiracy to Sell) of Republic Act 9165 will be filed against the arrested suspects. (UnliNews Online)
